CBD On The Rise: CBD Beer and Lube

We have all fallen in love with infamous CBD tinctures, vapes and oils. Then companies began to get creative and infused CBD into edibles like gummies and cookies. CBD has been a hot trend for the past few years, but we are on a whole new wave of the evolution of CBD.
Products like CBD tinctures and vapes are becoming a normalcy- and CBD entrepreneurs are nothing short of innovative.

Last year in San Diego a few restaurants in the Downtown area introduced CBD cocktails onto their menu. It quickly became a highly demanded beverage in the craft cocktail scene. We have now seen CBD popularizing amongst the restaurants in California, and the creativity is spreading across the nation! CBD oil was legalized in Michigan this year with a bill sponsored by State Rep. Steve Johnson.

“CBD oil derived from hemp doesn’t get you high,” Johnson said. “It contains no more than 0.3 percent Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). But the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs decided last summer to start classifying it the same way they do marijuana, which contains 5 to 35 percent THC.”

There is a brewery in Michigan making headlines with their CBD beer. Founders Brewing adds CBD at the end of their brewing process to add some extra feel-goods to your beverage.

But the CBD trend doesn’t end there- we are seeing CBD infused mascara at Sephora, CBD lubricants for both men and women, CBD bath bombs, CBD salted almonds, CBD agave nectar, CBD tea….the list is infinite! It is so satisfying to know that a supplement that promotes equanimity within, is trending right now. As a collective society we need more plant medicine and are beyond happy to see a product so healing become the must-have in the health and wellness industry.

That naturally raises the question, are we even receiving healing benefit from CBD in any of these products? The answer is YES! Because CBD is an extract with a high burn temperature and the ability to keep its medicinal integrity, we are able to absorb and receive the medicinal benefits of CBD in a vast multitude of ways. We have a whole article that talks about how exactly CBD can be so versatile yet still so powerful- it is hard to wrap your brain around the fact that CBD can truly do so much. Thank goodness for progressive science!
